Cat Food

Divina has been attempting to feed the cats. She follows them around with cans of cat food and places them around them if they are asleep. Here she's making an offering to Chloe. She also knows a couple of them by name. She says "Frankie" and "Pook" (who is actually Spook, our foster cat.) We have five cats, by the way. Two of them are available for adoption; Chloe and her baby, Nerple. This calling the cats by name is a real milestone. All cats, and all animals for that matter, used to just be called cats or kitty cat or catty. Eventually, she figured out that dogs are different than cats. Those are doggies. It's funny, the first animal that she called by name was Spook, because I believe Spook likes her the least of all our cats. Divina torments her to no end. There is no way to know how many times a day I say the words "Divina, leave Spook alone." Hmmm...perhaps this is how she learned the name.
