At McDonald's (yeah I take my babe to McDonald's, what of it?) ... At McDonald's today we were playing on the big plastic climb-o-rama when some little girls invited us to play with them. It was funny because of the way they asked us. We met at the top of slide (to get to the slide we had to climb up four stories, through tunnels and stairs and such...really much to small for me, but Divi wouldn't go on her own)... We met at the top of the slide and this girl turns to me and says "Come on! Lets all go down together!" So we all went down together...sort of. That slide sure was static-ky (how does one spell static-y? Is that a word? You know what I mean.) My hair stood on end. Divina's hair did not stand on end. I kept getting shocked and zapped. My fingers, my rear. Why don't kids complain about this? It's a torture device! Here you think you're going to have a lovely sliding time and ZZZ, ZZZ, ZZZ...yeow! Weird. We did it five more times. So it was funny that these girls didn't seem to recognize that I was an adult (which, up until today, I thought was obvious), they just accepted me as a girl on the play-thing. Kids are great. I really felt welcomed and belong-ed (another word that probably doesn't exist...until today.) If you don't know how to act around kids, just become one. You remember how, don't try to hide it.

Ha...I always get shocked when I come out the car & close the door. It sucks! About staticky, I was so curious I just had to check! I guess the adjective is actually statical! And I thought I knew English!
