Here I am awake and disgruntled. Divina fell asleep in the car on the way home from Quail Botanical Gardens and woke up when we got here. She did NOT go back to sleep. No nap, for me either. Then she had the nerve to fall asleep on the couch at 7:15 pm! What the?! I tried to put her to bed at 8, but no, she wanted to sleep on me, then the couch again. So at 11 she wakes again wondering where the hell she is. Okay. Back to bed we go. With all this up and down I am now wide awake and it's 1 am and she may get up for good at any moment anyway. Again, I ask you, is it really that unethical to drug children?

Well how funny you should bring this up! I meant to make an entry about kiddie drugs but didn't have the time. Christopher was getting sick when we returned form Lego land right, and asked for the medicine. Today when we got home he tells me he's sick and he wants medicine. Hmmm... He seemed fine to me but I was in denial that he would actually lie to get the buzz the tylenol Plus gave him. I think he lied to me just to get his fix!
Speaking of medicine buzz...my oldest, when little, would get waaayyy spaced out on Robitussin. She still can't take the normal dose w/o getting incredibly "euphoric" which freaks her out. I'm kind of jealous of that ability (am I going to hell for writing that?)
I thought it was messed up that my dr. wrote *me* a RX for sleeping pills, when the whole problem with my sleep was little Miss H and her getting up every two hours. Why couldn't Dr. write something for *her*?
I hope I'm not the only person who has ever googled "pediatric dose restoril" just for informational purposes...cough cough...
