The Loop

Milestones are not something I've kept very good track of in Divina's life. Her first word was at about eight months old. I believe she said "kitty" but it might have been "ghee". I can't tell you when her first tooth came in, or when her first step was. All I know is she did them all eventually. Which is why yesterday's milestone is remarkable. I'm making a note of the date. Yesterday began THE LOOP. We were at Los Olas and Divina started in on regailing us with a story about what happended on Little Bear the day before. It went something like this: "Little Bear sneezed, Little Bear sneezed, achoo!, Little Bear sneezed on his cookie, and then Little Bear sneezed on his cookie, and then achoo! Little Bear sneezed on his cookie, achoo!, achoo!, and then, and then, and then, Little Bear sneezed on his cookie." This went on for a good ten minutes. I'm sure this was only first of many, many, many, many, and then and then and then, many, many, and then and then and then, many more stories lost in THE LOOP. Saturday, November 24, 2006, the day I lost what's left of my sanity.

I can imagine how that was! It sounds soooo funny and cute to read about, but I can relate to how frustrating "the loop" can be because my older one was infamous for her five-minute-long adjective strings describing how cool or how pretty something was. She still has an extremely recursive and tangential way of describing events. I'm like, *get to the fricking point already.* LOL!
But Divina verboseness is still cute to read about.
