Blind Talents

I have few talents. One is the ability to make my way through the house, into Divina's room, get her out of bed (paci and blankie in two), change her diaper, rock her back to sleep, and place her in bed again in complete darkness. Part of this is traveling from her bed to the door and closing it without a single sound. I've being doing this since she was wee tiny. Darkness and white noise being the key to a long sleep.

Mark does not have this ability. When he tends to her, though its been a long time since she rejects anyone but me at night (lucky me), he requires light. I am smug about this. In fact, I sometimes wander downstairs for a midnight snack and keep my eyes closed for as much of the adventure as possible.

I wonder if other people have such talents that wouldn't be known if not told. What can you do?
