So we were at the stop light when I suddenly recalled a thing Mark and I used to do when Divi was just a wee lass back in Indy. At just such a stop light we would whisper to each other "one, two, three" and turn around and yell "Ah!" Divina would laugh and laugh and the more we did it, the more she would crack up. So I reminded Mark about that tonight and we decided to give it a try. Not such a good idea, it turns out. The "Ah!" made her limbs jump (the rest of her was strapped in, you know) and her face formed a look of complete terror and a tear formed in one eye. She looked as if she were about to say "what the hell is the matter you people?!" but she said "what happened?" I laughed so hard I couldn't even make any noise and Mark did his best to apologize and explain how it made her laugh when she was a baby. She eventually regained her composure and while Mark was pumping gas, five minutes later, I could hear a little whisper "one, two, three" then "Ah!" I turned around and she was laughing at me.
