Free Cat

So we have all these cats. This one, pictured here, needs to find a new home. The is Nerple, the daughter of Chloe (the stray I brought home from work with two kittens - Chloe is FIV positive). At first we thought she was a hopeless case. She was like the wrong end of magnet, always repelled by the slightest approach. On a good day, she would allow me to watch her eat, from an acceptable distance of course. Mark and I have spent just a little time offering her treats or toys and she is now coming around. We can pet her at times. This is a real reward. I thought I'd have to take her to a sanctuary or the Humane Society, but her recent social developments have me thinking she might be rehabilitatable. I plan to make posters about her and see if she can find a home. I think Chloe will be sad if her baby is gone, but I'm sure in time she'll know Nerple is all grown up and needs her freedom.
