The Diva is Dancing

Have you seen this show "So You Think You Can Dance?" It's a dance competition structured much like "American Idol." I like this show. I like dance. Well, Divina seems to like it, too. She watches the dancers intently and sort of kicks and grooves along with them. Anytime she hears music with a beat, or not, her shoulders rise and fall, her feet take her back and forth, her arms reach out and seem to turn her around and around. Then when the music is done, she cheers "Yeah!" and claps. All the while smiling and checking that you are enjoying the performance. At times in the car I'll hear her tapping her hands on her legs, most of the time in time with the music. She sings, too. "Twinkle Little Star" is a favorite, as well as "EIEIOooooo." It's funny how our bodies just know music and beat. You can't hold back when you hear a good tempo. Perhaps it has to do with the rhythm of our bodies, pulsing all the time...breathing. She is so human.
