How much does it cost to renew one's energy and self esteem after a few hard days with a temperamental two-year-old? Sixty-eight dollars. Tonight I braved the world of the mall rats and went shopping. Truly, I am no longer one of them. No more sway in my hips, no more heads turning. Consider my new look: too short hair cut, no makeup, lower belly rolls, stylish pink sty in left eye which eliminates any hope for symmetry. I'm a real looker, yes sir. Sometimes I miss my youth. Sometimes I miss little pieces of paper with phone numbers on them. Sometimes I miss not being able to actually feel my double chin, or the things that jiggle here and there. But tonight someone smiled at me and wrapped her little warm body around mine. She is lulled by my singing and puts her pretty little head on my shoulder and she calls me Mommy and I feel so incredibly beautiful.

Don't leave us hanging! What did you get for $68 that had such renewal powers??? The things that wrap themselves around my body in warmth and love just call me "Meow" which I believe means "Servant", so it lacks that certain something that "Mommie" carries for rejuvination. So, I'd love to know what you got at a mall that spells "relief." At first I thought you were talking about getting a massage - which would still be good for any of us.
Oh the little pieces of paper. I remember those well and I don't miss it at all. Seems like ages. I'm sure the heads are still turning pretty lady, you're just too involved in adoring your daughter to notice ;-)Atleast that's what I tell myself. Well unlike your $68 dollars, luckily it costed me only $2.09 plus tax today to re-gain my sanity and make a little boy very happy. Can we say McDonalds fries?
By the way Pink is IN...hahaha
