So tonight I went to the first meeting of the Palomar UU Fellowship worship associates. I'm very excited and horored to be a part of this group. At tonight's meeting there was a chain of conversation that I must share with you now. It started when I said that I have a one track mind - children. All the things that inspire me are related to children in some way. If only this group had started one year ago all I'd talk about was sex. One year ago I was teaching sex ed (OWL). There were then some jokes about sex and worship and our minister, Beth, made a funny about watching what we preach about because of our non-profit status. She was refering to making political statements. There were then more jokes about sex and politics then Brad said, not meaning to make a pun, "You have to be careful what you say about Bush." Oh man, this is why I go to church.
