Brain Food

At our fellowship on Sunday I was delighted by a great lecture. I love lectures. In my heaven, there would be lectures like this one every week. This week's piece of heaven was given by Bruce Thompson, Ph.D. Here is a bit from his intro: "I want to talk about Indian theology, and how Indian theology has influenced Western theology. To give the talk a concise if somewhat simplistic thesis, I shall argue that Christianity is a branch of Hinduism—not just similar to Hinduism, but actually
descended from Hinduism." I was rivited. The lecture was thick with historical religious references, so if you're not the religious history type (which I am) it might be dry for you (which it was for Mark). Still I want to offer it up. You can read it, all 17 double spaces pages, via pdf at http://members.cox.net/vistauu/sermons.html.
