The Bar

Mark has been mountain biking about three times a week. He usually goes with Aaron, his business partner. They sometimes have terrible crashes and falls, laughing all the way. On the last few runs, though, Mark has not had any terrible falls, but Aaron has. The opposite of last week. He attributes this to the learning curve. One starts out as a novice, making lots of mistakes, then masters the skill. After some time, the bar is raised, adrenaline rushing, and more mistakes happen. It's a euphoric cycling cycle. He also tells me that he sees coyote's on the trail, often only feet away. I said that he should tie some hot dogs to his bike. Marks feels this would raise the bar a little too high.

Couldn't find a good picture of Mark, so here is a picture of my beautiful child instead.
