That's a Bright Moon

On our way to Rubios's (Mexican fast food) Divina noticed that the moon was very bright. From the car to the restaurant she pointed at it and said loudly "Wow! Look at the moon! It's big! Shit! It's so bright!"

Now, I have said the word in front of her before. Just a couple of days ago I was getting something from a lower cabinet and stood up to hit my head on an upper cabinet door that was left open. I said several words, actually. But "shit" as an exclamation of the awesomeness of a thing is not something Mark or I use as a rule. Her TV watching is closely monitored, too. I just don't know where she learned to use that word in that way. We were too busy trying not to laugh to correct her. She IS very good at expressing herself.

For the record, I held an ice pack on my head for most of the rest of the day and still feel the bruise. My cranium may never be the same.

HA HA HA! Oh, man!
I guess it's true that little pitchers have big ears. Which means I better watch my mouth-I use that word as an expression of awesomeness sometimes (usually prefaced by "Holy") :D

Could hardly read the rest of the story through the tears. Good luck with that.
