Magic

Tonight I learned some magic tricks online.

Wait...let me back up. Divina has a fever. 103.4 at 9:30 tonight. We know this because Mark went out and bought a fancy thermometer for $52. I called the nurse, administered Tylenol, and will take her to the Doc in the AM. Other than wanting to be held all the time and a little more tired than usual, she's fine.

So, the trick. I did this for Mark and it ended in tears with us rolling on the floor. There's two cups, one with ice and one with water. I explain that I will make the water disappear. I pour the water into the ice cup, then pour the ice into the now empty cup, no water. Mark watched the contents of the ice cup fall into the empty cup. We then burst into laughter as Mark said "Hey! You turned that water into a paper towel! Amazing!"

Spooooky.

AMAZING! Sorry to hear about Divina. Hope she gets better soon. I just tucked in Christopher can you believe it? Night Owl just like mommy

So Magician lady, can you make my son stop singing old Mcdonald? If you're as good as you seem, you can work your magic from home without him being present.

I hope Divina is feeling better and soon back to her bouncy self.

Wish I had something witty to say about the $52 thermoteter. Drugstores taking advantage of a parent's concerns, if you ask me!

It took me a minute to get the gist of the magic trick. Paper towel from... where? How? Huh? Oh, duhhhh..

Yeah, work some magi on us! Make US stop singing "hey mr. knickerbocker, bopity bop" from Barney, because we look like fools when we start braking into song in public places. Gotta stop that.
