Is it wrong?

Is it wrong to skip pages when reading bedtime stories in order to make sleep time come faster?

Is it wrong to tell the child she must finish with the swing because another child needs a turn... and there are no other children in sight?

Is it wrong to say there is only one Wiggles show on the DVR when there are, in fact, twenty?

Is is wrong to consistently dress your child in mis-matched socks, telling her that pink and orange look nice together?

Is it wrong to take a 15 minute detour up the highway, when you are supposed to be on a grocery run, just because your favorite song happens to be on the radio?

Is it wrong to deliberatly walk slower when at the grocery store to prolong your alone time?

Is it wrong that my deepest, secret desire is to spend two days, completely alone, at home, to do whatever, whenever I want...like change the channel, use the toilet, take a shower, or read a book while eating Hostess cakes?

None of it is wrong. Hey, if I didn't know any better I would think you stole that list from me!

we need to do these things to keep our sanity as parents.

I can't remember the last time I used the bathroom alone. Isn't that sad?
