Star Struck

Remember the Bee? One of Divina's favorite restaurants is Old Country Buffet (or Home Town Buffet depending where you live). On Thursday nights the mascot comes out for family night. It's the OC Bee. We first discovered "the Bee" in Indianapolis. Divina was in love at first sight. She is crazy about this thing. So we went to OCB (or HTB, whatever) this Thursday and saw the Bee. Of course, Divina was thrilled. The Bee came by to visit, shake hands, let the child take her in, and then off to terrorize other children (some kids fear the Bee for some reason.) While the Bee was calavanting around, Divina asked me if that Bee stings like other bees do. I said we should ask her when she comes back and Divina said that was "a good idea." So here comes the Bee for the second round and sits down right beside Divi. Holding her black gloved hand, Divina starred at the Bee with her mouth hanging open with a huge, HUGE grin. I said "Divina, don't you have a question for the Bee?" All she could do was stare and grin at it's giant felt head. A total look of amazement, awe, and devotion. "Divina, you were going to ask the Bee something." Stare. My god, she's star struck! Speechless. I asked the Bee myself about the stinging and she shook her head "no, no, no." Then there were hugs and kisses and back to the mac & cheese.
