4th of July Parade

Since moving to the new house every neighbor has told us about the annual neighborhood 4th of July parade. All the families meet at one end of the main street (the other end from which we live) and make their way to the other end led by three firetrucks and police cars. Everyone comes decked out in their best red, white, and blue outfits, some very elaborate. So this morning Divi and I ran out to Meyers and purchased our new wagon. Mark and I (with a little helper who attempted to hammer Daddy's head) put it together in record time with minutes to spare. Little Miss waved at people and was most impressed with the guy who drummed us all the way to the end. Ratatat tat tat ta tat ta tat. Then she ate a Popsicle and wanted to come home. The end.

Nice to see you. I may have missed it but I take it you're all better. I'll catch up soon!

We drank so much here that we passed out on the sofa and missed the fireworks, we were supposed to go to legoland. However when we got up and went in the back we could hear it and see a little bit coming from a nearby park and poor Alyssa was terrified. So maybe it was better that we stayed home
