At Fernwood on Sunday there was a small tent in the middle of a small clearing. Through the black mesh you could see that the place was packed. People of all ages and sizes were in there and everyone was in a good mood. You just can't not be happy around butterflies. Inside we were given little pieces of cantaloupe and the butterflies just came to us, partaking in the fruity feast. It was a rendezvous of species. We purchased a crysalus that was promised to hatch in a day or so. It did, but it's wing was deformed. I doubt it will live long. We've given it a piece of plum and placed it outside. I'm hoping the wing is just young and needs time to unravel. (In other news: Mark and Divina encountered a frog/toad on the front sidewalk on their way out to the car a few days ago. The frog/toad has eluded me thus far and I am writhing with jealousy.)
PS: The hand in hand photo is of Divina and her Grandma.

Just look at the smile on her face! Too bad about the butterfly though. So I take it that you have the camera glued to you so that when you do meet Mr Frog/Toad we will all get to see it. YES?
Oops i wasn't finished. So until you produce some froggy photos I don't believe you...hehehhe
