I love garage sales. My mom found this chair, along with a desk, at a sale right across the street from her house. The chair did NOT look like this when we bought it. It was ugly, I mean UGLY. It was very old, no paint, scratched, stained, dirty. Divina helped me paint the first layer of white on it, then I did the colors when she went to bed. I'm just thrilled with how it turned out. Kudos to me.
And here be the kid while cracking up. Ha.

WOW1 I had no idea you had such talent Ms Craftiness. It really looks nice. My SIL recently gave us a desk that has been in the family for ages and it looks like it. Guess who has the job of sanding, staining and changing the hardware. Yep, yours truly. But it will have to wait because I am not in the mood.
