Monica and Monique

A couple months ago I found this doll at secondhand store. It's a flip-flop doll with a black girl on one side and a white girl on the other side. I'm not sure what it makes me think of or how it makes me feel. It's just interesting. It makes me go "hmm." I wonder what inspired the maker to create it. Divina likes to okay. She's not crazy about it, but she does pick it up and turn it over sometimes. Funny.
