A few weeks ago I borrowed a book from the library, "Beyond Time Out". We are changing our approach to discipline around here. It seems that we have what is called an "imbalance of family power". Specifically, Divina has too much of it. So things are a-changin'. Requests for cooperation are expected to be met with prompt, appropriate action, and if they are not, to the bedroom she goes. No pleading, no explaining, no messing around. You can tell by this picture exactly what she thinks of this new plan. I, however, am very pleased with the results so far.
