Gibberish

I was all set to write here tonight when I started thinking of how I hate it when people (Americans) bash the non-English speaking set (everyone else, including the English) for not speaking English good...well...correctly...whatever. English is just a ridiculous language. A people would have to have one collectively twisted psyche to insist that English be set as the universal language. Take "read" for instance. Here it is in the present tense...read. And here it is in the past tense...read. Spelled the same, prounced differently. Would you set your drink on your stool? What about your stool? Now that's just not fair. And what about the races? If the human race is a really a bunch of races, where exactly are we racing to? We sure don't seem to be going anywhere very quickly. If you buy a TV set, why don't you get two? Did you know that the word "set" has more definitions than any other word in the English language? Aren't you glad you read this blog?
