A Mother's Pride

A few weeks ago I got Divina a little step stool. She now washes her hands several times a day, a real big girl. So today I'm working in the kitchen when Divina walks by carrying her stool. So I ask her "What are you doing with that stool?" And she says, "I have an idea." How many scary things are going on with that statement? First, my child is now having "ideas", then she's having "ideas" that require a stool.

I have this eye infection, a sty. I keep a warm compress on it as often as possible. So I'm sitting on the couch, with the compress, with my eyes closed, and Divina is contently playing with play dough at the coffee table. I opened my eyes to check on her and she's standing directly in front of me with a giant piece of play dough sticking out of her mouth like a big toungue, and she says "du ah hav ahny ting on ma faace?" Thanks Mark.
